Customers praised this golf ball for adding distance off the tee, with many reporting 5-15 yards longer drives. Reviews highlight "good quality," durability, and straighter flight. However, some noted no noticeable distance increase compared to premium brands, and chip shots/putts may go farther than expected. The ball is smaller and lighter than standard, for recreational use only.

Good ball off the tees as well as around the greens. Just one improvement for me would be if they were matted.
Very good quality golf ball. Length off the tee is comparable to big name brands. I can’t spin shots that well so I can’t speak to the stopping action on greens. The alignment markings work great for putting. So far these seem pretty durable.
These balls do what they say they're supposed to do. I used to hit my balls 5 yards into the bushes, now they go 15 yards into the bushes. Sometimes that's enough to come on the other side. So yes, I like these balls.
Don’t seem like
They travel further then conforming golf balls I play.
I am a senior golfer who hits the drives well. Longer than my contemporarys and most of the younger players however, my iron game not so good. I say this so you understand where I’m coming from. After 6 rounds: off the tee (driver holes) it tends to be shorter then Pro Vx and Calaway Crom and Super Soft. However it tends to stay straighter and higher. Haven’t lost one yet. On putts as it slows down it breaks or curves more then the other balls. Maybe because it’s a bit smaller? As I am getting more used to it I am learning how to play it. Hope this helps.
The Volviks seem to be consistent in distance and in feel. Still using the first ball after trying three to see how they react. Took a bit of time to get, but have time before outside golf picks up.
Yes, longer for driver and about the same for irons, except the irons were straighter. Chip shots go too far as well as putts. I guess I can live with that, for now;)
Love the ball, thought the wait was excessive but i plan to order more.
I have only used the Magma balls for one round and they performed very well. No rock hard like some distance balls.
Great ball but doesn't go any farther that my current golf ball
Goes far. Smaller than normal ball. Seems to be lighter. Not a harsh feel but not a soft feel. Seems to be well constructed and balls appear to hold up well. Seller makes it clear for recreational use only not USGA or SCGA approved. Played 18 holes yesterday and I enjoyed how the ball rolled on putts and how it came off the face on driver. I recommend this ball in a just for fun golf round.
Overall, I suck at golf, but I wanted to see how these fly. Not too bad. They hold a pretty good flight pattern and don't go spinning off the driver. I used them on a few holes and did get pretty good distance out of them. They are holding up well. For the price, they are a good high end ball with good feel and distance. I did not see any difference in spin rate on the greens, but then again, I did not hit any perfect shots to create spin. It is a cool ball and I think it does keep me straight off the drives.

These balls are extremely long, I drove it at least 15 yards longer than the top premium brand. These balls are great off the tee.

The best golf ball
No noticeable increase in distance
A sleeve of ball’s was missing. I’ve contacted customer service and I’m waiting for conformation that they are sending them.
They go higher and farther one because they are smaller and a little bit heavier
The distance and durability of the balls is perfect for a senior golfer.
Yes your drive LOOKS like it goes farther, but that’s because the ball is smaller & lighter, so it appears to move away from you faster than a normal ball. However distance wise, it’s about the same.
very good balls
Volvik has created a ball that adds a few yards to my drives on the golf course. It is hard to say exactly how many yards I have gained with the Magma ball, but I would estimate that my drives are 5 to 10 yards longer, my 3 wood club about 5 to 8 yards longer and my irons about 5 yards longer. No, these estimates are not scientific proof, but they are my estimates based on a dozen rounds of golf played recently. Of course, these distances are based on good swings with good contact on the ball. My mishits still have a poor result.
Maybe you are thinking these yardage gains are not enough to justify switching to a Magma ball, but even a 5-to-10-yard gain on my drive on an average length par 4 hole means I'm using a shorter club for my approach to the green. This can make a difference in my accuracy and distance to the pin for putting.
I guess technically the Magma ball doesn't meet the PGA requirement for approved golf balls. But when I hold a Magma and an approved golf ball in my hand, I cannot see a difference.
If you are playing in a tournament or other serious competition, then you must use an approved golf ball. However, most of my rounds of golf are just for fun with friends, with no money exchanging hands.
Game changer for golf outings!
